Job Title: Secretary / Director of Administration - CONRAISS 15

Location: Karu, Jos

Details

The Secretary/Director of Administration shall be responsible to the Director-General for the general administration and finances of the National Institute.
As the Head of the Directorate of Administration and Secretary to the Board of Governors of the Institute, he/she will oversee all administrative matters including advising, coordinating and supervising all the Departments and Units; serve as Chairman, Senior Staff Appointments, Promotions and Disciplinary committee and will also serve as Secretary to the Board of Governors of the National Institute.

Job Specification

The candidate should possess a good Honours degree and a M.Sc,/M.A, or a Ph.D. in the Social Sciences with vast experience in the Administration of Government Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Tertiary or Strategic Institutions in Nigeria or oversees.
He/she must have risen to the rank of a Director in the Federal Civil Service (or has been a Deputy Registrar for at least five years)
Candidate must have national exposure with at least 20 years experience.
The position is for a single term of 5 years (non-renewable), candidate must be within the age bracket of 50-55 years. Membership of the National Institute (MNI) would be an added advantage.
