Job Title: Head, Marketing

Location: Lagos

Job Description

The job holder will be responsible for the organisations marketing activities and oversee the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business.
He/She will further manage the promotion and positioning of the brand/products of the company.

Job Summary

The role encompass the followup of prospects and seal contracts and deals. The job role has digital, commercial and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop the marketing strategy for new and existing products
Oversee implementation of the Marketing strategy
Drive the sales/marketing team and ensure they meet their commercial objectives and weekly targets.
Provide necessary and appropriate tools, materials and presentations to the team.
Guide the day to day activities of the marketing team.
Ensure the marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team.
Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programs.
Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organisation.
Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
Carry out other assignments given.

Requirements

BSc/BA in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant discipline
A professional certification will be an added advantage
Proven experience in Marketing or similar role
Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
Proficient in MS Office and marketing software
Familiarity with social media and web analytics
Excellent communication and people skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Creativity and commercial awareness
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
