We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Manager For a Water Production Company

Location: Lekki/Ajah in Lagos

Job Summary:
Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the organisation, the manager is expected to provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. The manager oversees all customer facing positions (customer care, and professional services) as well as quality assurance, activities, and product management in the organisation. Central to this role is building positive and lasting relationships between the organization and its customers.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and organising production schedules
• Assessing project and resources requirements
• Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
• Determining quality control standards
• Overseeing production processes
• Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
• Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
• Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
• Liaison with buyers, marketing and sales staff
• Supervising the work of junior staff
• Health & Safety of the workforce
• Carrying out and attaining the mission and the goals of the business managed
• Business Development activities not limited to
• Branding, Research, marketing and strategies extending to new market opportunities
• Source and call on new markets and new clients
• Maintain Customer loyalty and maintain brand identity
• Create a friendly environment for business sustainability

Qualifications and Requirements:

• University degree in any discipline.
• Must have knowledge of the water production industry.
• Strong professional background with no less than 3 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to show results
• Proven administrative, leadership and management ability.
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be adept in the use of Internet and E-mail
• Good team player
• Strategy oriented and driven
• Excellent thinking capabilities and analytical skills
• Very good organizational skills
• Very good communicating skills
• Very good at solving complex problems
• Must have high connections and networks to discharge the sales of the products
• Ability to structure turnaround strategies and develop strategic and business plans capable of moving the company to the next level

Required Experience
Minimum of 3 years in a similar industry
