We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Program Manager

Location: Abuja

Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate activities on various projects. He/she will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers towards facilitating the program deliverables and the realization of its strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader with relevant experience in managing staff of diverse disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. He/she should also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics for achieving the program goals and benefits. Successful candidate shall report to the Program Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Lead the team to produce the program management plans and execute the plans as developed throughout the program life cycle.
Establish in collaboration with the Program Coordinator, the program governance and the overall program implementation and monitoring plans including their interdependencies.
Support the Program Coordinator to manage the program budget and efficient utilization of the program resources.
Manage risks, issues and take corrective measures.
Lead the program team to execute the stakeholders’ management strategies.

Requirements

First degree from a recognized institution in any relevant field. Possession of a Post Graduate degree is an added advantage.
Possession of professional credentials PMP/PRINCE2/RMP/MSP is required. Candidates with PgMP would be preferred.
Proven relevant knowledge and experience of not less than 10 years in managing complex projects and programs is required.
Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
Proven team and stakeholder management skills,
Outstanding leadership, communication and organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving ability
Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management softwares (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage.
