Job Title: Director, Information and Public Relations

Location: Lagos

The Job

• The Director, Information and Public Relations is responsible to the Rector on issues relating to information and public relations in the Polytechnic He is responsible for the interaction between the Polytechnic and its public and also for effective co-ordination of information and relationship of the Polytechnic and its stakeholders.
• The Office is a four (4) year tenure in the first instance and renewable once.

Qualification/Requirements
Candidates should possess the following:

• A good University degree from a reputable Institution.
• Must be a member of NIPR
• Candidate must have at least fifteen (15) years post qualification experience in public relations of a Tertiary institution.
• The person must be acquainted wtth 21st century public relations operation.
• The person must be a goal getter, Highly organized, very resourceful, be innovative, hardworking and competent. He must have good personality with good managerial skills.
• The person must be a leader and a team player capable of working with minimum supervision.

Conditions Of Service

• The basic salary attached to the post is CONTEDISS 15. Other allowances and fringe benefits are as applicable to similar positions in tertiary Institutions in Nigeria and as may be determined by the Governing Council from time to time.
