We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounts/ Inventory Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies.
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
Coordinate the handling and movement of equipment repairs.
Report to the departmental head on stock levels, issues etc.
Prepare payment vouchers attaching relevant documents and forward same to departmental Head for authorization.
Ensure thorough verification of all quotations, purchase orders and invoices to ascertain accuracy before initiating payment request.
Reconcile all clients/contractors/suppliers accounts for accuracy with invoices, items supplied/services rendered and remittance advice.
Manage petty cash transaction and report spending trends to Supervisor.
Ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions in the company's automated financial systems.
Handle general account queries with utmost secrecy.
Give weekly/ monthly reports to Supervisor as may be required.

Requirements

2 - 3 years' experience in Accounting / Inventory Officer
OND in Accounting or any related field
Working knowledge of QuickBooks
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Excellent verbal & communication skill.
