We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Client Principal (Director)

Description

• The successful candidate is responsible for leading Decagon’s effort to establish and grow partnerships with top Nigerian companies.
• This role is suited to someone with experience creating and growing relationships with senior leadership in major corporates and the ideal person has a strong network of relationships especially in the IT and HR leadership in corporate Nigeria.
• In addition, the ideal candidate has strong software engineering and digital product background to enable them to conceptualize solutions and supervise software development projects for clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Placement Partnership Team.
• Find, build and maintain long-term relationships with Hiring Partners.
• Work with the Hiring Partners to fully understand its current and future technical Software Engineering requirements/ demands.
• Act as an interface between our Hiring Partners and Program Directors (Learning and Apprenticeship) to ensure that the Program Curriculum is suited to the short/long term requirements of the Hiring Partners.
• Clearly articulate technical capabilities of the Software Engineering Trainees to the Hiring Partners through technical demonstration of solutions to their current challenges.
• Partner with the Marketing Team to generate leads and the Program Directors to ensure 100% successful placement of all Software Engineering graduates before completion of the 6-Months program.
• General advisory role on innovative business models for the Placement Partnership Department, designed to ensure 100% placement of the Software Engineers.
• Maintain post-placement relationship with the Hiring Partner and Software Engineers to receive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Provide general advice/ feedback to the Program Directors.
• Assist in Research and Development.
• And yes! A chance to change the world by delivering Nigeria Trained World-Class Software Engineers into the Local and International EcoSystem.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Programming/ Software Engineering.
• Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads.
• Previous experience as a Product Manager.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Business Development Executive within the Software Engineering sector.
• The role will be a good fit for someone with experience in Technology Advisory within one of the big four consulting firms.
