Job Title: Group Head, IT

Location: Abuja

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing all technology operations across various companies: Agro & Telecomm, Oil & Gas, Mortgage Bank, Capital Project & Equipment Management, Aluminum roofing sheets, Microfinance Bank, Haulage and Transportation and Real Estate Construction and evaluating them according to established goals
Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management
Analyzing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
To create and maintain Information Technology with Organisation needs and in keeping up with current best practice for the youth sector in the IT Field.
To ensure Information technology and management are in-line with agreed strategy and policy. To ensure that policy and strategy is in compliance with government legislation and standards in those countries in which the organization is registered and / or operates.
To manage the further development and implementation of organization current projects. Specifically to manage:
The development plans for ongoing integration, upkeep and improvement of IT systems;
To organize and implement servicing and support of all Organization IT systems to agreed service level standards.
To develop, implement plans, to research, analyse and present material relating to the Organization’s impact and approach that positions the Organization as a global leader within the sector.

Requirements

First Degree in Information Systems Management or relevant field;
MBA, M.Sc. or M.Th. Computer Science/Information Technology.
Professional Certification: CPN, ITAN, NIG, CPRN and IMIS
Minimum of 12 years work experience of which 6 should be in a senior management position.
Proven experience as IT Group Head or similar role
Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
Experience in controlling information technology budget
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Resourceful, highly innovative, highly attentive to detail, good sense of judgment and driven by a desire to make improvements.

Information management projects are delivered on time and meet their objectives
Information Systems and collected data are perceived by stakeholders to enhance the work of the organization.
Delivery of operational plans to time and within budget, supported by appropriate IT systems.
Backup and Disaster recovery techniques
Data loss prevention
Project delivered on budget
Average Handle time for projects
Server Downtime
Server Up time
Mean Time to Repair (facing, responding and repairing a problem
Quality Assurance on project
Project delivery time
