Job Title: Finance Officer

Job Description

• The successful candidate works under the direct supervision of the program Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Programme Accountant with a dotted line relationship to the Project Manager and the Operations Manager as regards scope and timing of activities so as to effectively manage funds.
• The successful candidate must be primarily responsible for the proper application of funds in accordance with RFH financial policies.
• Co-ordinate all financial aspects of the project from the award of contract to end of award and subsequent follow-up and work with the Research information Team to monitor research outcomes.
• He/She will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and sending of accurate financial reports to the Programme Accountant.
• He/She will also assist in budget analysis, implementation and monitoring.
• Manage existing projects by: tracking ouch projects, developing internal reporting systems writing reports: maintaining excellent historical records: providing trend analysis on a monthly basis: working with staff to ensure each project or program is meeting proposal conditions and expectations. Qualifications

• He/she must possess a first degree(B.Sc/HND) in Accounting.
• Must possess minimum of one year post-NYSC working experience.
• Must possess good knowledge of microsoft office especially excel.
