We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: NDT Level III Inspector

Description

• Interface with construction and engineering team regarding technical and field production issues
• Interface with contractor representatives for relevant quality/technical issues and ensure smooth resolutions afterwards,
• He / She has technical responsibility for Level II NDT Technicians for all the NDE
• Ensure that the field production facilities test concise written NDT reports
• Report to Seplat QAQC Lead
• Interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the examination methods to meet industry and customer requirements and endorse accordingly
• Prepare and approve NDT procedures and other related NDT work instructions
• Conduct training and examination of NDT personnel (where necessary)
• Supervise NDT Level I & II Inspector.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

• HND or Degree – Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or related Engineering Discipline
• Professional Experience (number of years): 15-years and above in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Must have knowledge of applicable codes and standards of AWS, ASME, API.

Minimum Professional Certification:

• NDT Level II Certification ASNT Level III in RT VT, UT, MT, PT etc.

General Requirements:

• Ability to communicate well at all levels within the Company and work under pressure as project demand
• Prepare instructions, procedures as well as ability to interpret results of the inspections
• Ability to analyze Level II inspection data trends and make recommendation for inspection level and frequency changes.
• Good Physical Condition, requires walking, climbing, and tolerance to environmental conditions
• Must be proficient in common PC software (MS Word; MS Excel; MS Outlook; etc
• Fluency in English and ability to communicate in equipment supplier’s language.
