Job Description

• The Circulation and Distribution Manager will manage all aspects of distribution/circulation for Prestige Magazine ensuring the operation is cost-effective and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the quarterly print order for the magazine
• Manage the cost effective distribution of the magazine
• Oversee the street distribution system and delivery on the appointed day
• Ensure a high level of integrity in the distribution process, with management of how vendors, channel partners control the movement of copies and returns.
• Manage and motivate distribution partners – both street distribution teams and placed copy suppliers.
• Manage hawker staffing levels and locations to optimise copies per person, total pickup.
• Maximise pick-up of placed copies and therefore readership.
• Manage costs through contract signing of new partners.
• Manage subscriptions to the magazine in order to maximise subscribers including driving sign-ups.
• Manage the delivery, process and sign ups of digital ereader versions of the magazine.
• Develop and manage the delivery of information to the sales team about the distribution model ensuring that each sales team member can explain and justify all aspects of distribution to advertisers.

Experience/Requirements

• Graduate with a Degree in any course.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Analytical thinker
• Ms- Office proficient
• An ‘’out on the streets’’ mentality, not stuck behind the desk.
• Good geographical knowledge
