Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa was established by law of the Ondo State House of Assembly in December 2007. OSUSTECH is a technology-based institution which aims at providing the needed manpower training in order to address the critical needs and technological development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.

Job Title: Chief Software Engineer (CONTISS 13)

Location: Ondo

Duties

• Work in a team of developers in several projects;
• Develop well-optimized and efficient source code for the latest software applications.
• Produce software tools and amalgamate it toa fully functional software system.
• Maintain and test software to ensure that it is working properly and in Information Management Sciences
• Embrace Commercial applications

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a good honours degree (minimum of second class lower division) in Computer Science/Software Engineering from a recognized University plus evidence of completion/exemption of NYSC plus other requirements as specified by the University.
• The Candidate must have a minimum of 8 years cognate experience in a University or a tertiary institution of comparable status

Remuneration and Conditions of Services

• The successful applicant will be placed on consolidated salary with relevant fringe benefits and will equally enjoy the allowances normally attached to the position in Nigerian Universities and others as approved by the Governing Council from time to time. Please note that the appointment of Registrar is for a single tenure of five (5) years only.
