Job Title: Electrical/Electronic Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

Our client seeks to employ a hardworking, result driven, self-motivated and very passionate individual for the position of Electrical Engineer
This individual will execute installation and commissioning activities, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, repair and maintain the company’s electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting installation and commissioning activities in line with the work scope;
Performing all assigned jobs according to the technical and work instructions supplied;
Managing the repair of all electrical installations, maintenance of all electrical panels/machines/discharge equipment and ensuring that all the daily maintenance targets are met;
Keeping equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions, IEE regulations and established procedures;
Troubleshooting, diagnosing and rectifying system faults within available timescales;
Managing the design and execution of electrical projects in line with given specifications and time schedule;
Generating method statements and risk assessments pertaining to the development of the work scope;
Ensuring that all job documentation is provided on a clear and timely basis;
Maintaining best practices and adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, both on-site and within a workshop environment;
Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with company Quality Management system and customer specifications or contracts; and
Coordinating of electrical/instrumentation maintenance activities towards achieving optimum overall plant operational efficiency.

Experience and Qualifications

A minimum of a Second Class Upper Division in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields from a reputable institution.
A minimum of 2-3 years of cognate experience in the manufacturing industry.
A proven track record in a similar service or automation engineering role.
Age: Not above 35 years

Abilities and Skills:

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
Proven leadership skills
Result oriented and strong organisational skills.
Working knowledge of Instrumentation communication.
