Job Title: Information Technology Support Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

Repairing equipment and replacing parts
Responding to breakdowns
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and more
Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
Maintaining records of software licences and ensuring adherence with software licensing laws
Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.
Obtaining replacement or specialist components, fixtures or fittings
Testing and modifying systems to ensure that they operate reliably
Managing secure network access for remote users
Designing maintenance procedures and putting them into operation.
Managing IT budgets
Providing user training, support, advice and feedback
Implementing and managing security or integrity and backup procedures
Checking computer equipment for electrical safety
Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
Implementing and maintaining IT administrative systems
General IT Support duties

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant field.
At least five years’ experience in IT Support
Professional Certification will be an added advantage.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Self-driven individual with ability to work with minimum supervision
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to maintain the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
Strong time-management and organization skills
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Analytical and problem solving skills
Self-driven individual with ability to work with minimum supervision
