We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Associate Director, Operations

Location: Benin, Edo
Job type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities
As the Associate Director, Operations your responsibilities will be to:

• Work with the Managing Director to set strategic goals that promote company growth
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the business
• Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
• Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
• Ensure that the company runs within conformity to established regulations
• Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability
• Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
• Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resource allocation
• Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
• Have oversight on all departments with the exception of Finance and Human Resources, which includes providing:
  • Strategic direction on training and certifications
  • Approval on departmental annual budgets
  • Employee mentorship, life/work balance and professional growth
  • Recruitment oversight
  • Constructive feedback
• Grow the business in partnership with the Board
• Keep the business at the cutting edge of technology (AI, Big Data, BI, Web, Mobile, other strategic areas as identified)
• Maintain excellent employee satisfaction ratio metrics
• Deliver projects to budget and within specified timelines
• Maintain a close working relationship with the MD and the Board - regularly (by reports or otherwise) keeping all abreast with major operational information/insights
• Display emotional intelligence and ability to interact with professionals at all levels and backgrounds

Requirements
You’d be a good fit if you:

• Possess a University Degree in Computer Science, or related field.
• Possessing a qualification in Business Management is an added advantage
• Have 10 years post NYSC work experience in a technical role/technology-focused company
• Have 5 years of senior management experience in a technology-focused company
• Experience working in the public sector or with public sector clients preferred
• Display a high level of initiative, creativity/innovation and energy
• Experience in performance and operations management
• Possess excellent oral, written communication, presentation, and analytical skills
• Experience of working in a tech startup is a bonus
• Possess an extraordinary mind and love to use it
• Be able to think big while also paying attention to the details
• Love working with numbers and are target driven
