Job Summary

• We seek a highly skilled to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for applying interactive and visual design principles on websites and web applications for a positive and cohesive user experience.
• He or she will be expected to use HTML, CSS and CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap and Materialize CSS and other design tools to achieve responsive designs.

Job Expectations
To succeed at this role, the candidate will be expected to:

• Develop new user-facing features
• Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code.
• Understand the limitations of our tech stack and business model and provide technical advice wherever necessary.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Education and Experience Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or a related field
• A minimum of 3+ years' work commercial experience as a front-end developer.
• Expert knowledge of at least one front-end framework — React, Angular, Vue
• Working knowledge of at least one CSS framework — Bootstrap, Materialize CSS
• Working knowledge of at least one version control tool — Git, AWS Code Commit
• Experience with architecture and design principles, building to consider maintainability, performance, security requirements, and impact
• A portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles (plugins, node packages, etc).
• A history of deconstructing user behaviour to create an improved experience for users, showcased in the form of blog posts, articles, screencasts, etc.
• Proficiency using the command line.
