Outsource Africa - Our Client, a leading and growing departmental store in Lagos is expanding her store operations to Benin and seeks to employ the services of:

Job Title: Deputy Store Manager

Location: Edo

Job Responsibilities

• Support and assist the Store Manager in the daily operations and administration of the store, including sales, organizing the goods flow, the cash flow, customer care etc.
• Ease the burden of the Store Manager’s responsibility to maintain a high level of store performance, running the store efficiently, and reaching financial goal
• Assist the Store Manager in coaching and developing the team to be highly effective.
• Execute all the tasks of the Store Manager, as the Deputy Store Manager and substitutes the Store Manager when absent.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Minimum of middle level education, retail or wholesales management
• A minimum of 2 years experience in (food) retail performance management from a commercial and customer focused environment
• Good understanding of the meaning of food quality and freshness

Skills Requirements:

• A keen eye for detail with an ability to bring all aspects of store operations and service together into an effective cohesive unit
• Excellent organizational skills and being a doer
• Excellent administrative skills
• Excellent operational-logistic skills for the daily ordering and processing of the assortment
• Excellent staff planning skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Energy, drive and a strong can-do attitude (getting-it-done mentally)
• A desire for continuous business improvement and professional development
• Ability to multitask and oversee the whole store operation.
