Job Purpose

• He/She will develop better farming practices and find effective solutions for AgroMall.

Principal Responsibilities

• Assist in collating, managing and analyzing qualitative and quantitative agricultural data, as well as report on findings from monitoring activities
• Gather essential materials and prepare paper works draft required for publication and correspondence as needed
• Provide on the job training and mentoring on data reporting
• Support Head, Agriculture as well as other staff on other capacity building activities.
• Work closely with assigned team to ensure activities are implemented according to standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
• Work with AgroMall program team to ensure that information relating to program activities is shared within in line with the organization guidelines and frameworks
• Provide day-to-day operational and management support to AgroMall activities.
• Provide other cross-cutting support when the needs arise.
• Support the implementation of agronomy management work streams by coordinating agronomy services management managers, supervisors and extension field agents’ roles to ensure effective and efficient implementation, ensure that deliverable are of good quality and on time
• Establish agent and supervisor visit schedule and implement, Provide training and coaching on agronomy services management to supervisors and agents as needed,
• Assisting with the plant selection process and the development of planting and irrigation schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Generating reports and presenting findings to management, clients, or other interested parties.

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.Sc / BA / HND in Agriculture, Agronomy or related fields
• Minimum of two (2) years working experience in Agric-related industry
• Have good knowledge in managing field crops in particular key commodity staple crops cultivated in Nigeria.
• Demonstrates knowledge in resource utilization

• Applications of tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Excellent Communication skills
• Analytic orientation with strong accuracy skills
