Sigma Qualitas Limited is recruiting to fill the following position:

Job Title: Specialist Middleware

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• The Middleware Specialist plays a key role in administrating the full stack of Middleware Infrastructure.
• The primary responsibility of the Middleware Specialist is design, development and support of technology infrastructure, hardware, software and office systems support and distribution, systems performance management and technology integration functions.
• The Middleware Specialist implements, integrates and provides support for middleware software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform client environment.
• Investigate capabilities and develop best practice around production usage and deployment of Middleware
• Develop internal knowledge of non-functional capabilities of current Middleware products
• Help the managed services team in providing consultancy services to our managed services customers in support of their production systems
• Solid Experience with TIBCO Suite of Applications
• Experience in design and development using Business works, Active Matrix, EAI and BPM
• Strong, hands-on experience with Java and/or .NET technology development
• Troubleshoot and provide support for Tibco based integration issues found in System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, and Production.
• Configure, maintain and provide 2nd level support of web sphere Application Server infrastructure
• Ensure high availability of Middleware infrastructure (application servers, messaging engines, proxy servers, integration layers)
• Analyze issues in the Middleware infrastructure
• Communicate with other teams and the client
• Plans and provides options for infrastructure components and applications.

Requirements

• Graduate Qualifications: A First degree BEng, BSc, BTec, Science or Technology Only from a recognised University REQUIRED.
• Post Graduate Qualifications: Master’s degree or Post Graduate Qualification would be of ADVANTAGE.
• Previous Work Experience: IT Environment Telecoms REQUIRED.
• Experience: 5- 7 years’ work experience with at least 3 years at supervisory position and experience in IT production environment ESSENTIAL.
• Certifications and Training Requirements: Relevant IT Certifications (CISCO, JAVA etc.), ISO, TOGAF, Enterprise Architecture, ITIL, PMP, Agile, UML, Testing, etc would be of ADVANTAGE.

• Administration of iPlanet Web/Application Server, Sun One Web/Application Server, Microsoft IIS, IBM Web Sphere Process Server, IBM MQ, IBM Data power, Apache
• TIBCO I Process, TIBCO BPM, TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO EMS,
• JAVA/C/C++/Jython/JACL programing, .NET technology development In-depth knowledge of the data centre facilities, including power supply system, HVAC system, Low Voltage system, decoration system, fire suppression & detection system, etc..
