Senior Supervisor (Production Volumes, Quality Monitoring and Verification) at Vagan Oil and Gas Limited

Vagan Oil and Gas Limited is a Nigerian Private Limited liability Company registered under the Companies Acts of 1990, In line with the policies of the Nigerian service provision. The company core area of operation is to provide a broad spectrum of services ranging from Engineering, Pipeline & Flowline Construction / Repairs, Facility piping and maintenance, Wellhead & Christmas tree maintenance and servicing, Composite wrap technology, Equipment & Offshore/Marine Supplies etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Supervisor (Production Volumes, Quality Monitoring and Verification)

Location: Delta

Purpose

• To Support the realization of SPDC value chain through monitoring and verification of injected volumes from Ughelli Pumping Station to Forcados Terminal through Trans Forcados Pipeline.

Dimensions:

• UPS is the collection hub for OML 30 and several other operators’ production.
• The facility has storage for 960,000bpd of liquid and pumps the liquid from the tanks down the Trans Forcados Pipeline to the Forcados Terminal.
• Three solar turbine-powered pumps having a total capacity of 660,000 bpd perform the pumping operation
• The storage facility provides days of storage in the event of a shipping disruption on the Trans Forcados Pipeline

Principal Accountabilities:

• Monitor the injection of produced volumes from the (Ughelli Pumping Station) UPS to Forcados terminal through Trans Forcados Pipeline
• Witness and verify the routine crude oil sampling at the chemical laboratory
• Report preliminary information on production volume and water cut sample results on a daily basis to the appropriate level of detail
• Maintain daily operational contacts with the SPDC Hydrocarbon Production Information Management Team and other teams as requested
• Provide prompt and detailed information in an event of an unlikely situation, for example, shutdowns, trips, water injection, Export of produced volume to other locations apart from FOT through TFP, etc.

• Terminal Installation Manager, Operations Superintendent, Team Leaders, Field Supervisors, HSSE, Control Room Operator, Forcados Terminal

Requirements

• Age: 60 years

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in oil and gas industry.
• Vast experience in SPDC production operations will be considered an added advantage.

Technology Platforms (Added advantage):

• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office applications, Technical Report Writing & presentations is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communications skill.

Professional Certifications:

• Membership of professional bodies would be considered an added advantage
• Technical/Leadership Skills
