Job Summary

• The Operations Support Lead will be responsible for coordinating the communications, stakeholder engagement programs and all internal & external interfaces as may be required by the Committee members, MDAs and industry stakeholder organizations to ensure successful implementation of the Committee’s work programme.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics or Applied Sciences
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in this role or a similar role.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

Skills and Competencies Requirements:

• Clear understanding of issues pertaining to international trade, operations management, policy implementation and preferably familiarity with the public sector environment Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skill.
• Experience in developing and successfully implementing stakeholder engagement plans
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a complex, fast paced environment.
• Experience in communications will be an advantage
• Self-starter with strong willingness to learn, teach and positively contribute in a team environment.
• Demonstrated attention to detail with focus on quality of work, accuracy and customer service.
• Strong project management and people management skills
• High degree of accuracy in executing work
• Ability to schedule work and deliver to tight deadlines.
