• Preparation and supervision of technical repairs, modifications and upgrades
• Audit of cement plants and grinding terminals
• Operations of grinding terminals and complete cement plants
• Preventive maintenance and planning
• Management of required spare parts
• Recruitment, management and training of employees
• Management of operational stability and improvement-process, product quality, performance
• Ensuring health & safety and environmental regulations

Therefore, LNG is looking to fill following vacancy in Nigeria:

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor (m/f)

Role & Responsibility:

• Supervise all mechanical maintenance activities at the plant site including safety, costs, environmental aspects and equipment availability
• Responsible for the mechanical supervision for assigned mill parts
• Maintenance and repair of machines and plants
• Coordinate and control the manpower availability on site
• Prepare the maintenance work to be supervised
• Train delegated personnel with regard to maintenance and repair of our machines and plant components
• Assurance of our quality standards and safety regulations during the maintenance of machine and plant components
• Technical elaborations/ audits with regard to mechanical supervision
• Ensure high standards in the provision of maintenance services in alignment with best maintenance practices
• Secure optimal availability and maintenance of all equipment
• Plan and coordinate repairs and replacement of parts
• Create the necessary purchasing requisitions for spare parts
• Continuous reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager
• Comply with all relevant company and statutory environmental, health and safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

• University degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
• Professional experience as Installation/ Maintenance Supervisor in the cement industry
• Sound knowledge of preventive maintenance and best maintenance practices
• Very good understanding of safety and environmental regulations
• Organisation and planning skills
• Good communication skills, an ability to work in a team and a confident manner
• Very good MS-Office and MS-Project knowledge
• Business-fluent spoken and written English
• Further languages skills would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel to various national locations
