We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Environmental Data Analyst

Location: Lagos

Job Description
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare project budgets and reports to the project team
• Work closely with a team of analysts to produce statistical results of environmental data
• Conduct environmental risk assessments and provide corrective action plans using environmental databases
• Propose recommendations and conclusions based on the analyzation of environmental data
• Prepare and present environmental data reports for clients, government agencies, and within companies, possibly in the non-scientific community
• Produce working models from data analyzation for application into real-world scenarios

Preferred Qualification

• BSc / MSc in Pure/Applied Sciences and extensive work-related experience in a senior role.
• 8 years experience of environmental data management & analysis in a professional services firm
• 8 years of environmental data validation experience, including a demonstrable ability to review data according to EPA guidelines
• Professional Certificate in Data Analysis
• Environmental sampling and reporting experience
• Risk assessment and statistical analysis experience
• Mobile field-data collection, processing, and integration

Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

• Possess experience or knowledge of database software
• Demonstrable ability to manage environmental data throughout its life cycle from field sampling through reporting and analysis
• Possess excellent computer skills to analyze and record environmental data systems
• Ability to manage and report chemicals commonly encountered in typical environmental investigations including VOCs, SVOCs, fuels, chlorinated solvents, and PCBs
• Knowledge of Federal and state environmental regulatory requirements
• Skilled at determining the best way to present tabular data depending on project needs
• Experience preparing data for integrated visualization and spatial analysis in platforms such as ArcGIS
• Willing and able to travel to connect with clients or team members
