They are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer
Work with the Board to establish and maintain a strategic direction for the company and business interests
Supervise and control all strategic and business aspects of the company
Day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of current and future operations of the company, including new entities which are part of the company should they be created, working closely with the Board, ensuring the stability of the company and related entities
Monitor the external environment, regulatory condition, read the market, anticipate change, and assess likely impact of change on the business
Scan ideas in the wider market for possible application to the operations of the company
Identify new opportunities within the market and lead the development of innovative products and services
Provide financial and operational support to the development of new strategic initiatives
Assess risks of strategic projects and minimise its impact on business performance
Provide financial and analytical support in any major negotiations related to strategic business proposals
Responsible for giving proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success
Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with the company’s short-term and long-term objectives
Lead and motivate all staff in developing new products, practices, and services, to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing managerial team
Make high-quality investment decisions to advance the business and increase profits for all subsidiaries
Enforce adherence to compliance guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics
Review all financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders
Ensure effective implementation of the Board of Directors’ resolutions
Assess risks of strategic projects and minimise its impact on business performance
Provide financial and analytical support in any major negotiations related to strategic business proposals
Lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the company’s standards and policies
Marketing:
Ensure the company’s reputation is upheld and market expectations are met
Oversee the direct interface with clients and ensure the delivery of excellent customer service at all times
Oversee the development and maintenance of an effective marketing strategy and plan
Active networking and involvement in delivery of marketing and PR activities.
Financial:
Agree operating goals, assign budgets, and monitor progress
Review operational costs considering other relevant providers and best practice
Recommend to the Board capital appropriations and report on annual results
Review capital expenditure and revenue growth
Develop annual capital and operating income and expenditure budgets for review and approval by the Board
Monitor and safeguard existing assets.
Operational Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve operational performance
Ensure succession and contingency plans and resources are in place for all key operational roles
Ensure full documentation of all operational systems and policies in an accessible format
Ensure consistency of systems across the company and associated entities
Provide effective control of the organisation to ensure best practice in the provision of products and services to clients.
Requirements
Minimum of a University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or any related field. A Master’s degree is essential
Relevant educational qualification is mandatory
Minimum of 15 years’ work experience in a Senior Management Position in a similar industry.
