Job Description

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing and maintaining Java-based REST services and server-side applications using industry standard software development practices, techniques and tools
• Implement unit and integration tests required for continuous delivery process
• You will be required to identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• You will conduct code reviews and help maintain code quality & documentation

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you are expected to have:  

• A minimum of three years’ experience designing, testing, and implementing Java applications with Spring framework
• Experience with Spring Projects such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud
• Experience designing, building and testing REST APIs
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery process with Jenkins
• Good knowledge of Maven and Git
• Practical experience as a Linux OS user and knowledge of Bash shell scripting
• Experience with container solutions such as Docker
• Strong database skills preferable experience with relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, Redis, MongoDB  [Knowledge of, or experience with, learning platforms or/and learning technologies would be a very strong plus]
• Experience with Angular(4/5)  and JavaScript/TypeScript would be a plus
