We are currently establishing our new base in Enugu, and are passionate about building the right team that will move the company into its next level in the entertainment and fashion industry.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Greet and escort customers to their tables
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies)
• Inform customers about the day’s specials
• Offer menu recommendations upon request
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software order slips or by memorization
• Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
• Serve food and drink orders
• Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
• Deliver checks and collect bill payments
• Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
• Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu, and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
• Follow all relevant health department regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to guests
• Professionally handle all guest complaints.
• Clear soiled silverware and any other operating equipment to designated wash-up/storage area.
• Able to generate the final bill from the POS system and offer to guest settlement.
• Able to report for duty punctually, wearing a correct and clean uniform and name badge at all times.
• Able to have a complete understanding of the Restaurant’s operating policies and procedures.
• Must participate in staff training and briefings.
• Able to maintain a good teamwork relationship with colleagues.
• Able to maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Assist in the clearing, cleaning, and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner.
• Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service.
• Able to carry out other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of S.S.C.E
• Minimum of 1 or 2 years in a similar position in a reputable hospitality company.
• Must Reside in Enugu state

Required Skills:

• Have good interpersonal skills.
• Have good communication skills.
• Have exceptional knowledge and skills about silver service.
• An eye for detail.
• Must be efficient and speedy.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Familiar with operating POS (Point of sale) systems.

Salary
N25,000 - N30,000 Monthly.
