We are on a mission to make online shopping real via video streaming in a language the audience is most comfortable with and to provide revenue streams to influencers and small sellers by making an ecosystem of video commerce.

Job Title: Designer and Video Editor Intern

Job Descriptions

• We are looking for a Designer and Video Editor to work along with the founders and leadership team!
• We are aspiring for a creative and organized professional to serve as Designer and Video Editor Intern to support the Hobo team by creating materials that advance our communications efforts.
• You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our design and marketing goals.
• As a Designer in Hobo, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies, design patterns, language and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Responsibilities

• Follow brand design guidelines in each creative you're preparing
• Design visual content for print and digital applications that is on-brand, reinforces our status and reputation, and is appropriate for our various audiences;
• Design and layout of materials for internal communications
• Design and layout of essential business materials (e.g. presentations)
• Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify communication of complex concepts and data;
• Edit video clips for distribution to clients and employees
• Create short videos to highlight, recap, and promote various endeavors and events;
• Work autonomously and develop high-quality concepts with minimal instruction;
• Assist team in developing and executing communications plans;
• Provide technical support for design- and video-related efforts;
• Optimize graphics and video content for social media platforms;
• Maintain organized content files, and help to organize and archive existing video and graphics files;
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management;
• Data visualization;
• Thorough knowledge of graphics and video editing tools like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Sketch, Figma, Illustrator, Premiere, and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office;
• Familiarity with best practices for graphics and video content on social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram);
• Technically proficient with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
