Applied Engineering Technology Initiative Limited (AETI) is an engineering consulting company, whose focus has been on rendering the following services: Technical Training, Recruitment of technical Personnel, Outsourcing of Technical Personnel and rendering engineering consulting services to the Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, engineering services, Hospitality Industry, etc.

AETI has been established after thorough research into the technological direction of the present-day manufacturing, oil & gas, telecommunication and engineering/technical services industries in Nigeria and across Africa. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Instructor

 Locations: Port-Harcourt, Rivers and Lagos

Summary of Job Function
The job entails impacting (In-Plant and In-House) Technical knowledge to skilled and unskilled personnel from the Industrial and oil & gas sector, (or Trainee beneficiaries of Cooperate Social Responsibility programme) in the area of Mechanical, Electro-mechanical via the use of modern Training aids, software, simulators and hands-on equipment.

Other Responsibilities

• Ability to facilitate and pass across previous Engineering experience.
• Implementation Mechanical Trainings and projects.
• Developing & updating new Mechanical and Electro-mechanical courses and manuals.
• Building, installing Mechanical & Electro-mechanical Trainers as well as software to facilitate Training programmes
• Sourcing for Mechanical and Electro-mechanical projects e.g. procurements, installation, repair, upgrades etc.
• Lead research and development team in Mechanical related projects and Training.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight reporting schedule
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Readiness to travel for in-plant Training.
• Ability to multi-task.

Qualifications
The Senior Mechanical Instructor should possess the following qualifications:

• Senior Mechanical Instructor will have over 5-8 years’ skill and competence in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering and must have handled some Mechanical Engineering projects.
• B.Sc / B.Eng / B.Tech and M.Sc in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related fields.
• Over 3 years hands-on training and facilitation experience & presentation experience.
• Ability to design world-class Training materials and Trainers.
• Must be skilled in practical & field experience with direct applications of relevant software.
• Minimum of 35 years old.
• Over 3 years hands-on training and facilitation experience & presentation skills
• Must be skilled in practical & field experience with direct applications of relevant software.
