Interra Networks is looking for qualified and dynamic individuals to fill the position of:

Technical Services Manager

This ideal candidate will have overall responsibility and accountability for the growth and management of the companys’ technology practice and infrastructure, including system design, management of new deployments, vendor negotiations, budgeting, technical sales, supervision of technical staff and coordination with other groups within the company. Previous experience in a telecommunication or ICT firm is an added advantage. This position will require some travel.

Responsibilities:
* Clearly define and set direction of current and future technology services requirements and implementations for internal and external clients
* Identify and define important initiatives within areas of responsibility, identify resources and perform program/project management tasks to ensure successful completion of projects.
* Assist in budgeting processes by forecasting demand/technology requirements and regularly tracking actual spending against estimates.
* Provide technical sales assistance to the Sales & marketing team.
* Provide career growth guidance and succession planning for members of the technical team.
* This is a client-facing position; candidate will be required to closely interface with clients for the purpose of requirements gathering, consultation and sales support.


Experience:
* 3-5 years project management skills in an ICT environment with at least 2 years in a senior manager level.
* Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch & deliver multiple projects on-time and on-budget.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Very strong interpersonal skills.
* Team building and supervisory experience, IP telephony knowledge is an added advantage.
* Practical experience in the deployment, optimization and operation of wireless networks is an advantage.
