Tribest Corporate Support Limited - Our client, a leading Financial Institution, is currently in the process of recruiting suitable and qualified candidates for the position below:

Job Title: Bank Loan Officer

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluating credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
• Engaging applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
• Determining all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt payment plans.
• Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information
• Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them to line managers or supervisor
• Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
• Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
• Maintain and update account records
• Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans
• Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas
• Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process
• Οperate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND / OND / NCE in any field
• Experience: 0 - 3 years
• Must not be more than 35 years old
• Passionate about LOAN SALES of bank products.
• Proven working experience as a Loan Officer
• Solid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practices
• Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
• High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of MS Office especially Excel and Word
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of accountability, and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a goal oriented environment.

Salary

• Very attractive + HMO + Pension + Proximity (Salary: N45,000 - N80,000 monthly).
