Device Technician at Moove

Moove is on a mission to redefine what large-scale rideshare leasing and vehicle ownership look like in Africa. We are developing an innovative model to rapidly improve the availability of vehicles for on-demand ridesharing services across major metro cities while also creating sustainable jobs for drivers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Device Technician

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The device technician will ensure that all devices and sensors in our vehicles are working from a hardware standpoint.

Primary Responsibilities

• He/she will take part in monitoring installations from our vendors, ensuring that the process is done neatly and no damages are done to our cars.
• He/she will be responsible for maintenance, basic repairs, and replacement where necessary.
• He would assist in vehicle recovery where vehicle tracking is required and would be responsible for mobilizing cars in cases where the device malfunctions.
• He will ensure devices are working properly from a hardware standpoint by physically inspecting each car as they come in for monthly inspections.

What You will need for this position

• Must have at least a diploma in a related field
• Must have no less than 5 years experience in auto electric and tracker installation
• Have basic knowledge of reporting with sheets.
