Duties

• Oversees the finance function ensuring the creation and implementation of a financial management strategy to support the corporation’s growth aspirations, coordinates the development and measurement of key performance goals and indicators for the corporation and its departments, ensures compliance with all prescribed accounting and reporting requirements. recruits and trains personnel and allocates responsibilities,

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a minimum of a first degree or equivalent in Accountancy, Finance or Management, plus any of the following professional qualifications: Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified and Corporate Accountants (ACCA) institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA), Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA). Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPA) and a minimum of 15 years relevant experience.
• Additional qualification may be an added advantage.

General Requirements:

• Candidates must possess the minimum academic and professional requirements for the role as stated above. Unless otherwise stated, a minimum of a second-class lower degree is required and candidate must have completed the mandatory NYSC program (where applicable). Additional educational or professional qualifications may be an added advantage.
• Candidates must also be computer literate, technology savvy, and possess good Interpersonal and leadership skills and be able to work effectively in teams.
• Successful Candidates will work in a Public Service Department or Agency that offers robust, challenging job opportunities, diverse working culture that values teamwork and leverages technology in delivering high-quality services to the people of Edo State. Responsibilities will include:
