Duties

• Lead the Reproductive Health Unit in the Public Health Service to achieve statutory and policy objectives.
• Support the optimal use of resources, respond effectively to current priorities and plan to meet current and future epidemiological requirements.
• Develop strategic plans and work plans for health service delivery. Support surveillance, monitoring and evaluation activities

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Medical or Dental Degree (MBBS, or BDS) or a Master's Degree in Public Health (M.Sc / MPH) with a minimum of 6 years’ experience.

General Requirements:

• Candidates must possess the minimum academic and professional requirements for the role as stated above. Unless otherwise stated, a minimum of a second-class lower degree is required and candidate must have completed the mandatory NYSC program (where applicable). Additional educational or professional qualifications may be an added advantage.
• Candidates must also be computer literate, technology savvy, and possess good Interpersonal and leadership skills and be able to work effectively in teams.

  • Contributing to the implementation of the Transformation Agenda
