We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant (Manufacturing)

Location: Niger
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Maintaining weekly and monthly factory overhead accounts
• Maintaining quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
• Maintenance and development of production, purchases, import and export, freight, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and shipping, documentation, and submission of inventory, and accuracy and validity of inventory
• Prepare, analyze, and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly gross margins, assist in month-end closing and inventory
• Providing factory department heads with relevant support
• Use software and spreadsheets to help with cost decisions on production.
• Working alongside the production management to provide accurate haulage costs by material/customer Involvement with the freight out and warehousing
• Managing the fixed asset register
• Maintaining the standard costing system

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• BSC / HND in Accountant or equivalent
• Minimum 3years’ experience in similar role in a busy environment
• Previous manufacturing experience/sound manufacturing background
• Good knowledge of costing/factory processes
• Familiarity Tally (ERP)
• Good systems knowledge
• Strong communication
• Tenacious and able to challenge the status quo when required
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
