Job Description and Requirements

• Candidate for this post should possess a good honours degree in the respective specialty and relevant Doctorate degree or Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in area of specialty is mandatory for clinical disciplines
• Ten (10) years of teaching, research and professional experience in areas of specialty since becoming a Lecturer II in a University or comparable institution of higher learning.
• Ability to initiate and develop research project.
• Significant Administrative experience.
• Ability to provide academic and administrative leadership
• Substantial scholarly publications in National and Foreign Journals.
• Experience in initiating and developing academic group projects.
• Experience in working in interdisciplinary groups is desirable.
• Ability to supervise Postgraduate Research (Including Ph.D. candidates in areas of expertise and Fellowship candidates for Clinical specialties).
• Registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body.
• Candidate must have been an Associate Professor for a minimum of three (3) years. Candidate who has been a Senior Lecturer for six years may be considered for appointment.

Remuneration

• CONUASS 7 (N2,485,099.00 - N3,209,140.00) per annum.
