Job Descriptions
Assist with month end closing activities from a P&L finalisation perspective
Assist with financial accruals for Logistics team paying due attention to cost already accounted for
Assist with validation of Log Ops tracking tools for imported goods received and stock sold
Validate the fuel tracker for sale of diesel to transporters and recovery thereof
Collate invoices from Freight Forwarders for imported goods and do validation checks against rate cards
Analyse Cost Centre reports to understand variances vs plan/forecasts
Co-ordinate and participate in monthly warehouse counts, reconciliation of counts, and adjustments
Participate in Weekly Logistics Operations meetings
Assist with preparation of Annual contracts and Quarterly forecasts
Co-ordinate activities with Genpact team members
Review aging stock on a weekly basis
Manage reconciliation of General Ledger and Stock Ledger balances
Review of stock adjustment posted in SAP and ensuring that we have due approvals for these entries
Assist with review of monthly reports and KPI’s/Scorecards
Manage the control and compliance agenda in line with Mdlz requirements
Manage and prioritise ad hoc requests as required or delegated by manager

Requirements
What extra ingredients you will bring:
Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel at advanced level a must)
Previous experience in month end closing activities will be advantageous
Previous experience in managing stock counts will be advantageous
Ability to work and collaborate with cross functional teams.
Previous exposure to Logistics environment will be advantageous
Ability to manage successful month end activities with minimal support
Ability to build strategic and collaborative working relationships across the business.
Ability to frame and present new ideas to gain buy in and resource.
Be willing to work in fast paced environment, sometimes expected to manage multiple deliverables
Education / Certifications:
Relevant tertiary degree or diploma – Management Accounting preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience, having worked in a similar environment / role with at least 12 months’ experience in a manufacturing environment
FMCG experience advantageous
