Purpose of the Job

• The Head, Marketing is responsible for  the execution of the company's overall marketing strategy and Initiatives.
• Reporting directly to the Divisional CEO, you will be accountable for the development and successful implementation of all marketing research, campaign plans/programs, branding & product positioning, product & sales support strategies, while also strongly maintaining key industry & public relations.

Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or an equivalent  (2.2/ Upper Credit Minimum)
• MBA or Master’s degree in relevant field will be advantageous
• Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels and branding
• Exceptional knowledge of marketing techniques, tools and platforms
• Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services
• Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
• Superb communication and collaboration abilities
• Demonstrable leadership and influencing skills at a senior level
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Documentation and Strategic planning skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of varied experience in marketing.
• Experience in content management and advertisement is advantageous
• Experience in running marketing campaigns
• Experience with digital marketing platforms
• Knowledge of the Nigerian and Global Technology market and industry
• Proven ability to manage budgets
• Experience using data (text, images & video) to illustrate business conclusions
• Strong experience as a line manager and a coach leading diverse teams
• Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format
• Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.
