We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HVAC Design / Sales Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints for new construction projects.
• Draft new plans to design ductwork and piping systems.
• Calculate ventilation requirements based on the types of systems needed.
• Determine costs for heating and cooling systems and write up detailed budget estimates.
• Coordinate and collaborate with architects and engineers when designing heating and cooling systems.
• Follow all building codes and obtain proper building permits when necessary.
• Prepare HVAC basis of design, HVAC design philosophy, HVAC equipment layout, cooling and heating load calculations
• Read and interprets construction plans, schematics, and blueprints for new construction projects.
• Analyzed all load programs and perform required calculations on same and manage all electrical requirements for HVAC equipment and recommend improvements
• Prepare HVAC equipment technical specification document with general arrangement drawing.
• Reviewed specifications, drawings, blueprints, schematics and other project documents.
• Interprets blueprints of the building and designing of HVAC systems.
• Manage all metal duct components and install all HVAC systems
• Analyze all load programs and perform required calculations on same
• Manage all electrical requirements for HVAC equipment and recommend improvements.
• Monitor and provide resolutions for all emergency alarm in systems and perform repair to all ventilating and air conditioning units.
• Maintain dehumidification systems and oversee all maintenance activities for various technicians.
• Design and provide enhancements to all conservation programs for electricity and natural.
• Monitor all resources and ensure optimal utilization for same and achieve all customer objectives and provide support to all equipment and perform calculations and implement various plans for HVAC.
• Perform audit on all HVAC system and collect data and perform periodic evaluation
• Monitor all log books, manage all change processes and resolve all issues.

Requirements

• Candidate must have engineering background (BEng. or BTech)
• Minimum of 7 proven years of relevant experience
• Candidate must have air condition - chillers engineer commercial AC experience
• Sales experience will be an added advantage.
