We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cold Fusion Developer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Responsibilities

• Delivering a complete server-side application functionality as well as future upgrades and enhancements while ensuring high performance
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented ColdFusion code with experience in both tag and script coding styles
• Coordinating the workflow between the client-side developers, database developers, and yourself
• Integrating and communicating with external web services
• Thoroughly testing your code as well as troubleshooting and resolving defects early
• Working with QA and other resources to address issues and changes as they arise

Requirements

• Proficiency with ColdFusion - both ACF and Lucee
• Proficiency with Amazon Web Services including SQS, SNS, and others
• Professional, precise communication skills with the ability to work within a team
• Deep knowledge of ColdFusion practices, commonly used frameworks and object- oriented design practices
• Experience creating and communicating with REST based APIs and webhooks
• Ability to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Ability to thoroughly test code as well as troubleshoot and resolve defects early
• Demonstrated ability for strategic problem solving across a wide range of problem areas
• Strong listening skills with an open minded and team-oriented approach to design and development
• High level of attention to detail and ability to follow and maintain coding standards to produce clean, readable, and well documented code
• Implement change requests to improve the GreatAuPair.com user experience
• Identify and resolve performance issues
• Implement new functionality
• Document the status of tasks through JIRA
• Work with QA to ensure standards are met for all phases of testing
• Deliver complete server-side application functionality as well as future upgrades and enhancements while ensuring high performance

Skills:

• Common web technologies including HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Familiarity with database management, MS SQL platforms
