The Thomas Adewumi University, Oko, Kwara State, Nigeria, founded by De Crown Nigeria Limited, a private University licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in April 2021 is a non-governmental, non-partisan and non-sectarian institution. It is situated at Oko Irese, about 6 Km from Omu Aran, the Headquarters of Irepodun Local Government Area, Kwara State, Nigeria.

Job Title: Content Marketer (TAUNTSS 09)

Details

• The Content Marketer will be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for marketing assets, blog, emails, website, campaign landing pages, digital display and SEM ads. He will brainstorm ideas with marketing teammates, the Vice Chancellor and utilize SEO best practices to increase site traffic.
• He would understand, internalize and help evolve the OUR Brand Voice as expressed in all written contents.
• He would write a variety of content formats including: long-form, optimized blog posts, e-books and case studies, research various online channels for subjects and trending news stories and manage the University’s social media pages

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess First Degree / HND in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or equivalent with advertising school certification such as Hubspot or a related degree from a recognised University, plus five (5) O’ Level Credit passes to include English Language. Candidate must be computer literate with excellent writing, editing and proofing skills. Candidates must also possess strong interpersonal and
• verbal communication skills, working knowledge of graphic design software e.g. Canva, copywriting or blogging experience and ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Candidates must have at least four (4) years’ experience working in an agency or similar marketing environment.

Conditions of Service

• The appointment, which is to commence as soon as possible, is for a probationary period of two years in the first instance and may be confirmed to retiring age.
• Salary is very attractive and competitive. Other conditions are as contained in the approved Conditions of Service by the Governing Council of Thomas Adewumi University, Oko, Kwara State.
