We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Creative Copywriter

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

• We are looking for a Creative Copywriter to write clear and concise copies for ads, publications, and websites. Your words will inform and engage our target audiences and those of our clients.
• Our ideal candidate is a wizard with words who has mastered the art of creating compelling narratives that will appeal to our audience's psyche.
• You must be a team-spirited, skilled, and imaginative writer with an eye for detail.  
• You can also work on anything from email, to website, and product copy. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we would love to meet you.

 Responsibilities

• Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
• Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
• Collaborate with designers, the digital marketing team, and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
• Conduct high-quality research
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
• Source images and other content

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications or related field
• 2-3 years proven experience as a copywriter or related role, preferably with a digital agency
• Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
• Experience with SEO
• Strong research skills
• Creativity
• Collaborative spirit
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to write top-quality blog posts on diverse topics
• See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment
• Excellent portfolio of previous works.
