Job Title: Physical Planning and Development Officer

Location: Irrua, Edo

Description

• The Physical planning and development officer is responsible for assisting with the day to day running and maintenance of university infrastructure (including the buildings, roads, and other properties including provision of utilities in the University).

Qualifications
The person seeking employment as the Physical planning and development officer shall be required under the University’s terms and conditions of employment to possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or other related discipline with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
• Membership of relevant professional bodies such as Council of the Regulation of Engineering (COREN), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), ARCON for Architects or QSRBN for Quantity Surveyors or NIOB for builders, is required.  

Competencies Required:

• An advanced Degree in related field is an added advantage.
• Demonstrable knowledge of federal, state, and local legislations on a wide variety of physical planning and development matters
• Demonstrable proficiency in ICT and computer aided design and controls.
