Job Title: Group Chief Finance Officer

Job Summary

• As our Group Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for implementing Financial corporate governance, working with other top management teams to determine the business path, including considerations of investment, funding, acquisition and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct overall Financial activities across the group and advice the GMD/Board on global Financial and strategic objective of the group.
• Provision of strategic recommendation to the GMD based on Financial analysis and projections, cost identification, allocation and income/expenses.
• Participate in strategic planning process as an integral member of the Senior Management team.
• Establishing guidelines for annual and periodic budgets. Oversee budgeting and the implementation of budgets.
• Oversee long term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with group strategic plan.
• Monitor the use of all funds to ensure it is in accordance with budgetary goals.
• Assess organizational performance against the budget and long-term strategic objectives.
• Oversee complete finance and account activities, monthly Financial consolidation, budgeting, risk management, internal control and corporate functions at the Group level.
• Manage Capital needs of the group ensuring the efficient use of capital expenditure, providing recommendation on best ways to improve efficiency and accountability in relation to all CAPEX and OPEX.
• Oversee Company risk management system.
• Interface with external bodies on Financial matters- FIRS, BIRS, external auditory.

Job Requirements

• MSc. in Finance / MBA
• BSc. in Finance / Account
• Professional Certification (ICAN / ACCA / CFA)
• Over 15 years Experience of which 8 is in a Senior Management Role.
• Proficiency in the use of Accounting Software.
