Hodskey Consultants Limited - Our client, a large, modern and well established Pharmaceutical Company with a Track Record in the Manufacture and Distribution of Pharmaceutical and Allied Products is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Deputy General Manager

Location: Edo

Overview

  • We require the services of a qualIfied, competent, hardworking, committed and experienced Deputy General Manager to provide support in controlling and overseeing all business operations, people and ventures.
  • The ideal candidate must be a strategist and a leader to steer the company to the most profitable direction while implementing its vision, mission and long term goals.
  • In addition, the right candidate must have very strong crisis management skills essential to ‘save’ the company in times of need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the Board and Shareholders
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth. Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning costeffective operations and market development activities
  • Provide strategic advice to the General Manager and Board of Directors so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future
  • Support in overseeing the company’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures
  • Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times
  • Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance -
  • Communicate and maintain good relationship with stakeholders, business partners and authorities.

Relevant Qualification(s)

  • A Graduate of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or a Degree in the Sciences or any related discipline with experience / certifications in finance / financial reporting, marketing, quality control, strategic planning, Human Resources Management etc.
  • Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • At least 8-10 years proven record of success in Senior Level General or Commercial Management preferably in a related industry
  • 35 - 50 years of age.
