Job Title: MIS Executive

Location: Kano

Responsibilities

• Researching and evaluating different technologies for enhancements or upgrades to servers, networks and other IT infrastructure equipment currently in place.
• Identification, assessment and mitigation of risk in relation to software, hardware, system interfaces and connectivity.
• Collecting data related to the necessary technological specification of each department.
• Developing and analyzing computer systems that fit the required specifications.
• Overseeing the maintenance of systems to make sure all departments are operating efficiently.
• Plans an appropriate budget for software and hardware systems.
• Supervises the purchase of the required systems.
• Develops strategies that can be successfully used as the software and hardware systems are integrated into the organization.
• Keeping current with the latest technologies and implementation processes to accomplish duties.
• Analyzing IT systems and infrastructure to make recommendations for improvement and growth.
• Maintenance of new software systems.
• Managing risk for the protection of the organisation’s data and information.
• Making sure that there is a balance between operational vs. economic costs of digital security systems.
• Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner.
• Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency.
• Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis.
• Develop MIS system for customer management and internal communication.
• Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to the management team.
• Generate both periodic and ad hoc reports as needed.
• Understand customer problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues.
• Provide customer support and assistance in issue troubleshooting and resolution.

Requirements

• Candidates with Bachelor's degree and 2 - 4 years work experience in data entry, generating financial reports, tracking expenditure and ROI of marketing activities.
• Candidates must have basic knowledge in MS office and financial software with strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
