Job Title: Front Desk Officer / Office Administrator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a warm Front Desk/ Office Administrator to undertake all reception and clerical duties at our office.
  • He/She will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression made on visitors.
  • The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.
  • The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.

Job Description

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance and manner in receiving guests.
  • Keep the front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)
  • Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them.
  • Answer questions and address complaints to the right person/ department.
  • Supervise tasks assigned to support staff such as cleaning and security.
  • Keep an updated inventory of office supplies and arrange for the procurement of more supplies where necessary.
  • Supervise the work of vendors and artisans within the office space.
  • Carry out designated tasks from direct report/supervisor.

Requirements

  • OND / HND / B.Sc
  • Proven experience as a front desk officer will be a plus.
  • Customer service orientation
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent English language speaking and writing skills.
  • Self -motivation and hands - on skills in ensuring that the office is run seamlessly.
  • Ability to master and deliver on timelines and routines.
  • Microsoft Office and Google package proficiency.
  • Close proximity to Maryland, Lagos is an added advantage.
