Job Title: E-Commerce Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a highly coordinated E-Commerce Manager to oversee the development and utility of our company's income-generating sites.
  • The E-Commerce Manager will be required to conduct research on effective website layouts and features, advise on evidence-based and experimental changes to our platforms, and monitor the effectiveness of strategies by inspecting standardized metrics.
  • In so doing, you should lead teams of staff, ensuring that you are available to furnish pertinent individuals with practical guidance, as required.

Responsibilities

  • Devising strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales in our online store.
  • Creating frameworks that transform our social media sites into highly profitable platforms.
  • Analyzing traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Managing and supervising the e-Commerce division effectively.
  • Offering suggestions for website development and designing.
  • Conducting thorough research about new developments in the e-Commerce sector.
  • Coordinating and keeping the senior management abreast of all operations.
  • Preparing and assigning work schedules.
  • Ensuring completion of tasks and company targets.
  • Developing marketing strategies and reviewing sales performance on a timely basis.
  • Approaching and collaborating with Content Creatorto generate online traffic.
  • Using effective SEO/SEM techniques to maximize search engine traffic
  • Reviewing any legal e-Commerce marketing procedures.
  • Creating performance reports on a monthly basis.
  • Driving the sales performance of the e-Commerce platform.
  • Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps.
  • Ensuring good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues or comments.
  • Working closely with demand planning and warehousing teams in order to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department, new product sell-through and offer code performance.
  • Track product imagery, copy and stock availability to ensure products are posted live on the website as soon as available in the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with the design team to upload content to the site Test and ensure that all the allocated merchandise is live on the site and functional at all times.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing Management, Business, Information Systems or similar.
  • 10 years work experience as an eCommerce Manager, Sales Manger.
  • Must be able to lead the digital marketing staff.
  • Extensive knowledge in digital marketing and an experience in it is a plus.
  • Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in e-commerce.
  • Unmatched supervision, research, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease.
  • Must be knowledgeable about relevant trends and innovations in e-commerce.
  • Must be good user of SEO/SEM and other marketing tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of eCommerce industry trends and procedures.
  • You have a high level of attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Must be a creative and strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation.
  • Must be able to strongly drive retail store e-commerce platform
  • Must be ready to resume immediately.
