Job Title: Director, Gas Engineering

Job Description

• ldentifying gas development and sales opportunities for strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders with good global standing and reputation for transfer of technological know-how arid skills for rapid business growth
• Create a gas market and develop matching agreements to ensure profitable sales opportunities.
• Preparing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on the annual departmental business plans n line with Corporate Strategic Plan and performance targets
• Follow up project quotations and participate in bid evaluation and analysis/award recommendations to Management.
• Perform flash calculations and verify system capacities with HYSYS software and determine temperature and pressure design parameters for the processing system. API 14C compliance report.
• Champion the enforcement of standards and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
• identification of Gas business opportunity, maturation of such emerging opportunities for the benefit of the Company.
• Follow up project quotations and participate in bid evaluation and analysis/award recommendations to Management.
• Liaising with Legal Department to deliver Gas Commercial Agreements and procedures, where necessary
• Review and update design basis report to the current system P&ID, process input to the datasheet, line, and equipment sheet.
• Ensuring safety procedures end metering standards are maintained and strictly followed,
• Participating In field development planning for gas development, gas negotiation, sales, and marketing.

Qualifications And Required Competencies

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BSc.) / Bachelor of
• Engineering (B, Eng.) Degree in a core Engineering discipline or other science-related disciplines.
• A Master’s degree or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience in Gas Engineering and surface facilities.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, creativity.
• Ability to explain complex processes in simple terms,
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintaining a broad spectrum.
