Job Title: Operations Executive

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Operations Executive is responsible for providing all round support to the office of the Chief Operations Officer (COO).
• The role will be interwoven with the various teams, stakeholders, departments, and government parastatals who relate with the COO’s dynamic office.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the COO to oversee daily business operations
• Create, proofread, and correct already typed out reports, presentations, and client-facing materials etc.
• Proactively make intelligent recommendations to improve the status quo.
• Cordially liaise with other departments to improve performance and work efficiency.
• Take minutes and action points at meetings with, and on behalf of the COO.
• Keep updated on industry trends and consumer market.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments or assist on any project to attain set goals.
• Help promote the company’s culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
• Identify issues that may affect the achievement of set targets and offer recommendations to promptly address such issues.
• Interpret data and analytics.
• Build a rapport with every department under the COO's office.
• Deliver presentations to team members, the COO, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor operational performance of both internal and external service providers.
• Any other duties assigned to you by the COO.

Skills and Qualifications Required
Candidate:

• Must have at least a B.Sc qualification in a relevant field
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a business work environment as an administrative officer or in a related position.
• Must be proficient in the use of the MS Office suite.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must display outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to learn.
• Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent analytical skills to sift through high volumes of data and information.
• Must display excellent attention to detail, especially in data entry tasks.
• Must display excellent multitasking skills.
• Must display excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn and internalize new information on our products and service offerings.
• Must possess excellent leadership, people management and conflict management skills.
• Must be able to think on their feet.
• Must have a basic knowledge of project management.
• Must be able to excellently manage confidential information.
• Must be committed to delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Must be a great team player and result oriented.
