Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

Location: Coker, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Information Technology Infrastructure Lead will be responsible for the development, documentation, and maintenance of IT policies, processes, and procedures.
• The IT Specialist will be responsible for availability and proper functioning of entire IT Infrastructure of the group starting from End user Device to Servers to Network.
• The Candidate should have strong Vendor Management and Project Management Skill.
• The IT Infra Specialist will also be responsible for ongoing management, maintenance of Data Protection tools, Active Directory and Anti-Virus Management.
• He/she has to manage, maintain and create complex automations solutions to improvise the service delivery.

Other Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist advice on all IT matters to the Group, including implementing major change initiatives. Liaise and obtain feedback from users ensuring that the Information and Communication systems are fit for purpose.
• Design and develop a robust, reliable and scalable IT infrastructure that benefits the organization.
• Should have fair understanding of entire ITIL framework should implement robust Asset Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and Service management practices.
• Should have knowledge on IT Network architecture and technology and Internet Services.
• Oversee deployment of systems and network integration
• Plan, design, and manage infrastructure technologies that can support complex and heterogeneous corporate data and voice infrastructure.
• Responsible for the availability of IT assets during each phase of Life Cycle starting from Inception to retire.
• Will be responsible for tracking and maintaining Warranty and AMC support of all IT assets.
• Will be responsible for managing entire IT Software inventory.
• Daily monitoring and health Check, Daily backup and restoration whenever required, Patch Management, Incident and Problem Management, Change Management etc.
• Will assess present IT security status of the Organization and will design and develop a robust IT Security Policy for the Organization and will enable implementation of the same to eliminate potential Risks.
• Support the Head IT to ensure there is a strong monitoring system in place which will be able to produce standard reports on the status of the infrastructure.
• Regularly report ongoing task/project and its effect on the success of the Group's business objectives.
• Establishing strong partnerships with vendors to set clear expectations.
• Should be able to write the scope of any IT related services and should ensure that services are delivered as per scope.
• Negotiating access agreements, establishing service level agreements, and ensuring contracts are in place to support the services provided by the infrastructure team.
• Support Head IT to create and document proper installation and configuration procedures
• Ensure the implementation of security policies at infrastructure level
• Support the Head IT in establishing standard ways of work that ensures the technical teams work together in a consistent manner.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree
• Candidate must know about IT Service Partners Scope Management.
• Must have thorough knowledge of IT Network Devices and Architecture (LAN & WAN).
• Knowledge of ITIL Process.
• Microsoft licensing and Office 365 Management.
